Who we are

We’re a different kind of research company... No, wait, we’re research... and a whole lot more.

Seriously, we could trot out a whole lot of hackneyed cliches about how we’re better than everybody else, but the truth is, we’re not for everybody. We specialize in making a special connection with your viewers or customers, in a way that’s foreign to most research suppliers.

That’s because we know numbers don’t tell the whole story, and in some cases they don’t even tell the right story. We dig beneath the numbers to find out what’s really going on with the people who matter most. And then we tell you what to do about it.

What we do

A lot of people call them focus groups, but they usually say this with the sneering condescension reserved for, well, 10 people in a room. And we don’t blame them, because we’ve attended a lot of really lousy groups ourselves. Before we started running them, of course.

Because respondents lie to you. And that’s assuming you’re talking to the right people in the first place... which you usually aren’t.

We recruit the right audience the first time, and we don’t let them get away with anything. And we add a variety of non-verbal techniques that can often elicit more truth than any words can.

And despite what we said earlier, we don’t shy away from numbers when they’re actually helpful. We specialize in dial testing of TV shows, and we have a longer history in that kind of thing than almost anybody in the business.
